Brugge Flower lace originates from Brugge in Belgium. It is a braid lace worked in sections, the thread is typically Linen and is one of the thicker threads you will find used in traditional lacemaking.
Brugge flower lace is one of the laces that I will teach, relatively inexperienced lacemakers can make the lace, there are sewings but these are worked with a crochet hook and much easier in Fresian Linen 80 than Egyptian gassed 180 that can be used in Honiton. See Courses that I teach on the menu bar above for more details.
